Saturday at the Market

Bean bag chairs are everywhere we've been so far. These ones are just out in the middle of downtown ready to be enjoyed.

We discovered this great market in the Britomart district of Auckland over the weekend. It runs each Saturday and it will be our primary source of fresh fruits & veggies. Something that we have discovered is that the central business district of Auckland doesn't have a grocery store like we are used to back home. They have many little marts, but nothing we have found so far has everything in one location. In order to get this we would have to leave this district and go out to one of the suburban areas. This market is only a 5 minute walk from our apartment, and will for sure become a weekly ritual.

This was my favorite spot in the market. They had these buckets of lettuce and spinach, but also great bunches of herbs. We will be buying some at the next market when we are in our apartment and can start cooking!
